Indesit IS70C Condensor dryer

Postby Kmcc » Wed May 14, 2008 8:31 pm

Hi,

Wonder if any one can help. Our Indesit has decided it doesn't want to work! First the door catch broke but I have since repaired that , but now when you close the door and switch it on all it does is buzz for about 2 secs and goes quiet. I have opened up the top and had the switch that tells the drier whether the door is open or not apart but fear that at this point I am getting a little out of my depth. Just wondered if anyone knows how this switch operates internally and if someone can confirm the location of the wiring on the top of the switch ( got distarcted and not 100% sure tehy are right and don't want to do anymore damage!). Alos a small side note when this switch is activated the coil within the switch gets hot but i still do not seem to get any drum spinning!

Any help more than appreciated
ManyThanks
