Whirlpool AWM 6100 door lock

This sometimes works perfectly but many times will stop several times during the cycle requiring the 'Start' button to be pressed. I've got a new door latch to fit but the old one doesn't have a microswitch so how does the machine know the door is closed allowing it to start?

Assuming you have the correct replacement I suggest it best to fit it and find out. :wink: :)
