Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods

Hi All,
I have just registered with this site and I have previously used Ezee but I can no longer access it, has it closed down? I have a fault similar to that of Pot Noodle submitted on the 27th of September, however I have a different model number. On the 40 synthetic and rapid wash cycles the machine stops with several buttons flashing and will not restart until the control knob is turned to off which of course means starting from scratch on a new cycle! I have cleaned out the filter regularly. There is also almost always a little puddle of water on the floor after each wash and I cannot figure out where this is coming from! I have cleaned out the powder drawer. I would appreciate any possible solutions from this excellent site.
Regards

Hi Penquin45,
Thanks for responding, the buttons which flash are 'Drain Spin, 100 and 0'.

I presume these are from the column of lamps down the right? If you could number them 1-5 starting at the top as to which ones are lit, we might be able to narrow this down. The Whirlpool tech info doesn't give us the luxury of the names of the lamps illuminated

.
Thanks,
Penguin45.

Hi There,
Sounds like the bottom 2 lights which indicate FP failure which is the drain time out. Have you checked the filter. (Possible blockage inside the tub and drum or a sock caught in the sump hose or even a 5p piece stuck in the pump outlet hole. If its not the filter it will be engineer time i'm afraid)

Hi All,
There is a row of six buttons along the centre top of which 'drain spin' is fifth from left and a column of five buttons on RH side of which '100 and 0' are the bottom two. I have checked and cleaned the filter regularly. Will now have a look at the possibilities Sparkyp has highlighted. What is FP?
Thanks parttimepar

Hi There Parttimepar
The FP i refer to is the error code thet is displayed on the digital versions of the whirlpool appliance. As yours is not digital it displays flashing lights to tell an enginneer in which direction to look.
Those in the know will know where to look. It is defo a blockage as your water will not drain out or drain out very slowly. Worst case a faulty pump.

These machines are renowned for "swallowing" socks which will get stuck in the sump hose, not making down as far as the filter.
