hi there
having big problems
model no ZWD 14270W
error code is ed4 sometimes also e73
called a technician from this site
he came and inspected machine
tried various steps first disconnecting heater element
and testing same to no effect his advice was that the problem lay in one or both of the control boards
and was reluctant to proceed because of their high cost and non returnability
there is an anomoly washer was connected to the HOT water supply in error while other plumbing work was done just a couple of weeks before breakdown
any help??
thank you if you got this far

E73 fault points to NTC failure in the dryer duct most likely, ED4 is normally an erroneous fault raised when there is a short to earth in either the dryer or wash heater elements, can also point to faulty p.c.bs most likely the drying one or wiring.

Fault E73 means there is a fault with the NTC located in the dryer duct, this can be caused by excessive heat, possibly by hot water as COLD water which is required constantly during the drying cycle to condense the steam.
