Baumatic is a small appliance, home appliance and white goods producer and there is little information of the company's history available.

It sells ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, sinks, washing machines, taps and microwaves.

As far as we aware it does not manufacture it's own products bar one or two oven models, in other words they basically resell all the products made to their designs much like CDA and others. Largely it seems to us that you are buying what is, in essence, a cheap and not so wonderful appliance over what you would pay elsewhere simply for the designs as the actual internals are much the same as many other own label products.

The brand is largely sold through kitchen retailers and some internet channels.

The company is privately held and has its headquarters in Italy which further hampers getting a lot of information about the business itself.

Spares & Service

Spare parts can be gotten for Baumatic but they have proven to be slow on occasion and not the cheapest. This may be why some repairers are not so keen on the brand.

That said, due to the generic nature of the products we are often able to source alternative Baumatic spares at much lower prices, it doesn't always work but it happens a lot.
