The Beko brand name is owned by Arcelik A.S. is a household appliances manufacturer in Turkey. The company is controlled by the Koc Group, seriously it's no joke these are the real company names. This is Turkey's largest and most prestigious group, and is the market leader in Turkey's appliance sector with its Arcelik and Beko brands. It is also one of the biggest household appliances companies in Europe.

We think it was a very good idea to use only the Beko brand name in the UK.
Currently Beko commands a 14-15% share in the refrigerator sector and an approximate 14% share in the washing machine sector of the UK market. This is aided, as is the increasing share of the overall European market, by the fact that Beko now owns the Elektra Bregenz, Blomberg, Arctic, Leisure, Flavel, and Troila brand names.
Definitely positioned at the budget end of the marketplace but moves are being made to push the brand up to the mid-range pricing for the better quality products that Beko offers.
As a general rule all the Beko (or Arcelik) brands offer reasonable value for money by modern standards although the cheaper products, as with most, are produced on a budget and that is reflected in the quality of the appliances.
Bought from the correct suppliers Beko spares are actually refreshingly well priced for the most part although fridge freezer compressors have proved costly on occasion.
There is little issue with obtaining spares although technical information can be sketchy at times and almost all spares can be obtained by UK Whitegoods. There are not many repairers that will turn away from a Beko machine as they are generally very serviceable.
Since the demise of Expert Appliance Care much of the service is dealt with for the moment by independent repairers but largely by Electrolux's Service Force agents.
There's actually not a lot bad to say about Beko on this front all things considered and mostly spares are readily available. However we have seen some horrific prices online for some Beko spare parts but we think that's more down to the seller than Beko, if you do think the prices that you have been given are too high please ask us about the spare part and we will look at it since we do deal directly with Beko.
Most of the common spare parts used on Beko Appliances are listed in the following sections of our online store, if you cannot find the spare part you need please ask us and we will locate it for you.
Beko washing machine spare parts
Beko cooker and oven spare parts
Beko fridge and freezer spare parts
Most common Beko fault codes, used largely on washing machine models, are available in our fault code section.
Beko has been brought into focus for the media during 2011 due to several incidents that the London Fire Brigade attributed to the failure of a Beko fridge freezer that ultimately led to the unfortunate death of one person, the full story from this link.
Previously Beko had been forced to recall a gas cooker model which reputedly caused the deaths of six people.
What the long term damage, if any, to the Beko brand name will be due these events remains to be seen.
