Details on Necht appliances are sketchy, there is little information about them out there because they are the sole property of Maple Industries.
Necht appliances are known in the industry as being associated with a trader known as Vance Miller, a quick Google of that name will glean many results.
Originally they were available through Maple Kitchens and, so far as we are aware, are now only available through a company trading as Rock Solid Kitchens at the time of writing. We will try to update this information as it becomes available.
We have had several calls at the UK Whitegoods office asking about these appliances with customers telling us that they have been told by people selling them a kitchen that these machines are German made, this is not the case. Many of the products are re-branded Chinese produced appliances and the quality is not high at all, hence the low price.
But on the Maple Industries website it states the following:
NECHT was established in 1990 with the sole aim of supplying German quality appliances at rock bottom prices.
Over the last eight years the product range has grown to include a comprehensive range of products whilst retaining outstanding value for money.
Many of the products we sell are re-licensed versions of proven and usually extremely expensive premium grade appliances from some of the worlds top brands.
The NECHT sales team are backed up by their own team of service engineers whose sole job is to maintain NECHT appliances.
In the unlikely event that a fault develops in the first instance please contact the service department on 0845 271 2444.
If a product cannot be fixed under warranty then a replacement will be authorised.
For a start, the last time we checked, 1990 to 2011 was a tad over eight years but we'll gloss over that other than pointing out how well the information page has been kept up to date.
The thing is that it says, in black and white, that these are German quality products... from China!? We think not. Not even remotely close.
You cannot have rock bottom prices and top quality, this industry simply does not work that way.
The statement about re-licensed products is, to the best of our knowledge not only misleading but also completely false. European manufacturers are very unlikely to offer up their technologies and manufacturing processes to a country and companies that present them with what is probably their largest competition and all intellectual copyrights are held by the original manufacturers.
Necht applainces are most certainly not "premium grade products", more like the lowest of the low in many cases and, at best, mediocre.
There is no spares information for these appliances other than what has been gleaned from customers and cross referencing against other products.
There are no spares distributors or known UK stocks of spares other than what we have managed to identify here.
There is no known service arrangements for these appliances.
There is no technical information on these appliances.
