Manufacturer Information
White Knight Domestic Appliances
White knight was developed from the creation of Crosslee in 1986. As we understand it this was around the time that Philips, or Philips Whirlpool, decided to cease dryer production in the UK and the management decided to buy the business. A management buy-out in effect.
After that the White Knight brand was formed selling mainly tumble dryers at the value end of the market where it seems to reside to this day. This is a little unfair in some ways as the dryers aren't actually bad at all and, at the prices we've seen, actually represent pretty good value for money.
There is a recollection of a brief dabbling with washing machines a number of years back that were supplied by the Candy Group which were, basically, re-badged Kelvinator machines with the Kelvinator fascia on them.
The current refrigeration range appears to be of Chinese origin and little is known about them.
The previous washing machines appear to be of Antonio Merloni origin and bear a striking resemblance to the Servis range of washing machines. So far as we are aware teh current range of washing machines (2012) seem to be produced by Vestel in Turkey like many others.
Spares are readily and easily available and are, generally, sensibly priced. The odd part is a bit on the expensive side but overall they are fair.
It is worth noting that, White Knight / Crosslee do produce for other manufacturers and brands and that spares pricing can vary massively between some of these. Very often spares can be obtained far cheaper by ordering the same part, often even the same part number, from another manufacturer to save a lot on spares.
Most of the most popular White Knight tumble dryer spare parts can be found in the section from this link in our online store and most other spares are easily available to order, just use the links below. The most popular are belts, thermostats and heaters or heater elements.
Getting a repair to a White Knight tumble dryer, washing machine or dishwasher couldn't be easier as most of the appliance repair companies will happily repair these appliances with little trouble.
