Please note that we are not Montpellier
Montpellier is a new own label brand to the UK launched in 2012 by Domestic Appliance Distributors (DAD) based in Gloucestershire that encompasses both freestanding and built in dishwashers as well as tumble dryer and fridge freezer models.
The brand sources appliances from factories around the world but the company says that it will use higher specifications than many seeking to place it in the more prestigious mid-market sector rather than trying to be as cheap as possible. This means that the features on their appliances tend to be better and the fit, finish and general build quality largely superior to many budget appliances.
That said the sources will almsot certainly be in line with many other own label brands with product sourced from various producers in China and Turkey.
We are aware that product is being made for them by Vestel, Beko, Galanz among others so it's largely the usual own label suppliers that most of these types of brands use. We therefore have little reason to think that they will be all that different from all the other own label brands.
The Montpellier brand is primarily available through independent retailers.
Service is carried out through a national network of independent repair agents that was set up in a collaborative effort between the Whitegoods Trade Association (WTA) and Montpellier directly just before the brand launched. The association helped find service agents across the UK for Montpellier allowing them to establish their own service operation that they had direct control over allowing the brand to offer a better level of service as well as flexibility.
Therefore service should be good in general and out of warranty repairs, when the time comes, should be viable.
Montpellier Spare Parts
We have been advised that spare parts will be available directly as well as though normal channels so we do not see any issue that being the case.
However spare parts have proven to be very limited and so far we have seen virtually no parts being made available though normal channels other than those that we have managed to work out for ourselves.
But if you do need spare please by all means ask and we will do our best to assist you with Montpellier spare parts.
We've managed to suss ouit a lot more Montpellier spare parts and, all too often far cheaper than you will find them elsewhere. We haven't been able to track them all down yet but we're still on the case.
If you cannot find what spare parts you need in the store please ask as you will typically save 25-50% over other sources for the same spare parts so, it is worth asking us to help you find the parts you need.

Helpful hint #1
Always empty the lower basket first, because when you pull out the top basket all the water trapped in the upper spray arm, presumably by a vaccum lock, pours out over the contents of the lower basket!
Helpful hint #2
