As service engineers we are constantly frustrated by appliances being made hard to repair and, when you can repair them, they are often too expensive to repair. This led to a situation where some washing machines in particular where becoming uneconomical to repair after a very short period of time, some even less than two years old.
It is extremely difficult to explain to people that the machine that they have bought, very often with a recognisable brand name on it, is in fact made very cheaply by another company or, more often than not these days, the brand is owned by a large multi-national manufacturer. Elsewhere on UK Whitegoods you can find more information on who makes what machine, but things constantly change. If it's that hard for us to keep up what chance has the poor person that isn't in the trade?
It is a ludicrous situation to find yourself in that an appliance you bought thinking that it would last several years fails so early in its life and cannot be economically repaired. To add insult to injury, a lot of the OEM service operations are so short of engineers there can often be delays on service of four, five and even up to fourteen days just to get a service call and even then you have to hope that the engineer has the part on his van to repair the machine.
We simply got fed up with this and decided to do something about it.
ISE stands for Independent Service Engineering, the name says it all. We are independent and we provide service and because we talk to our customers every day we have gone out of our way to provide what people asked us for.
Our machine has all the features that you would expect on a quality appliance as well as a few extras and has been specified from the ground up to be efficient, quiet and serviceable. We're so confident in the machine and the support available that we even guaranteed it accordingly as the machine is designed to last and provide outstanding value for money over its life.

More than that we actively encourage resellers to not only deliver and install the product but also to show you how to use it and offer advice on the use of the washing machine. We do this because we care about our customers and want to offer the best possible service and allow you to get the most from the machine.
As you would expect from a company with its roots in service, we think that we offer the best service backup in the UK as we've gone a bit further than most to ensure that.
All our support engineers have access to technical information and spares, in fact we even provide them with spares so that, if there is a problem, it is rectified as quickly as possible with the minimum of inconvenience to you.
We also promise sensible pricing on spare parts, when the need arises, for any to make the machine serviceable and have a long life.
We have no call centres. We don't like them and our customers don't like them so, you talk to a person that is usually very knowledgeable to help you from start to finish when you contact us.
Of course minimising any repair costs and giving the machine a long life lessens the environmental impact of sending some of our competitors to landfill prematurely, as well as saving the costs of disposal for you and the delivery and installation of a replacement machine. So it makes sense not only for the environment, but also for your wallet.
Of course many traditional retailers who are, after all, in the business of selling boxes, aren't too keen on the idea of their potential repeat customers not returning anytime soon. You therefore don't generally see ISE in a "typical" retail environments as many retailers shun ISE due to the principals behind it.
However, with ISE, the end of the machine's life is only the start of another one.
Rather than send a machine that has reached the end of its life with you to landfill we would like you to contact us so that we may pass the old machine to charitable organisations to train new engineers and then be passed on to the more disadvantaged in our society. There are a lot of benefits to this obviously with engineers being trained from disadvantaged backgrounds, people that may not otherwise be able to have a washing machine are able to and we look after the environment by maximising the use of the resources.
With ISE10 we have taken all these principals a step further still with a machine that has a design life of over 20 years!
We're so confident in the ISE10 range that all appliances in the range come with a ten year parts and labour warranty.
Made in Vara in Sweden with extremely high build quality which is virtually unsurpassed as well as the environmental and safety ethics that are world renowned from Sweden, the ISE 10 is, we think, the ultimate in washing machines.
This along with the simple, elegant design and use makes the ISE10 a fantastic and unbeatable appliance as well as exceptionally easy to live with.
We think that the ISE washing machine is totally unique and refreshing in its concept offering several features for value, performance, service and eco-awareness that are simply not available anywhere else.
ISE is available nationally from independents, please enquire to find your nearest dealer using this link to visit the ISE website where you can find many dealers listed by region.
