You must understand certain things before you begin or attempt any repairs on your own and we want to make these points very, very clear to anyone that decides to investigate one of these or any other American fridge freezers:
- We are not responsible for your safety, you are and by using this guide you accept that and accept that any damage that you may cause and work undertaken is entirely at your own risk.
- We will advise the common causes of the fault codes but we cannot guarantee that any parts or work recommended will resolve the issue. It is entirely your responsibility to diagnose your particular problem and resolve it.
- We are not responsible for you buying spares that do not resolve the problem, this is down to your own diagnosis not ours.
- No warranty is inferred, implied or given.
Please understand that these Beko fridge freezer fault or error codes are not a "magic bullet", they will not tell you what the problem is, they will only offer you an indication of where the problem lies and they are no substitute for diagnostic skills. You can find out more about what fault codes actually tell you in this article. So please be well aware that, even with this new found knowledge you will still have to actually be capable of investigating and diagnosing the problem and this means adhering to basic appliance safety for working on them.
Note that manufacturers can and do change fault codes without notice and we cannot guarantee that these error codes will apply to your particular model as all codes apply to a wide range of appliances and not normally any one specific model. To determine if these fault codes do apply to your particular Beko fridge freezer model please post a request to confirm this in the forums.
My Beko ASD241S is showing the red exclamation mark and the freezer is definitely not as cold as it should be - stuff is starting to defrost. Was definitely working fine yesterday - not sure when this happened, I noticed it about 2 hours ago. I\'ve hoovered the vent at the back and turned it off and on again. Still like this. It\'s only just over 2yrs old so I\'m a bit miffed (especially as it looks like I\'m losing lots of food!) Fridge seems fine. Any ideas?
Beko GNEV220S Red Warning LightHi there,
I have a Beko GNEV220S american style side-by-side fridge/freezer which is about 2 1/2 to 3 years old.
This morning the red exclamation warning light came on the control panel and i have never seen this before.
Does anyone know what this would indicate as it seems such a generic light?
Water tray freezes to ice cubes but ice-cream in the same area is still soft.
Put the shopping away last night so would of expected the ice-cream to be cold and frozen.
Many thanks in advance
Error code E15Hi guys.I have f/freezer ASL141.couple days E15 flashin on.Do samebody knows what is that?thanks.
fridge freezer45 flashing on display after powercut
Danger signI see just a danger sign on the panel there is no error. What shal i do
Are you sure these codes apply to the model you have?
It sounds like it has gone into service test mode. If you unplug it for thirty seconds or so then reapply power it should clear but if not then you will need to investigate further.
Service test should also automatically clear after about half an hour.
The codes for the ASD series are a little different to these fault codes that are in relation to older models. We are working on getting the later ones up online.
