Indesit WIXE Washing Machine Series Error Codes

These fault codes are displayed in an LED or LCD display in many popular Indesit washing machine models. Whilst a lot of these Indesit fault codes look and are the same in many cases, there are subtle difference in some so please take the time to find the appropriate set for your Indesit washing machine.

The error codes here are used in models that have a model number starting with WIXE.

These PCB's are often model specific, that is to say that they are dedicated to a particular model or range of model numbers that share the same basic features, do not take it for granted that because they all use the same fault or error code reporting system that they are all the same because they're not. It is also not the case that when it says that there's a communication error or suchlike that the electronic control board is faulty, if you choose to replace it you do so completely at your own risk.

The boards from Indesit will also often need to be programmed. This is done using a program on a laptop (that only Indesit has) or using a pre-loaded card that can be used with a special tool to flash the EEPROM in the washing machine or washer dryer. If you do not have access to either of those and your electronic control PCB needs changed, you will not be able to do it yourself unless you get someone to pre-configure the board for you. Trouble is, you only know if it's correct when you fit the replacement controller.
