This article will outline the problems associated with the above motor; and the Whirlpool-built brands it has been fitted to.
Brands: Diplomat, Caple, CDA, Prima, IKEA, Magnet, Tecnik, Firenzi.
These are all “badge engineered" machines and as such are made to a budget. The single biggest cost saving measure is to fit the Askoll-type circulation pump.

Above is the offending item.
Fault 1: Leaks from outlet hose top left. It's bonded on and is impossible to replace.
Fault 2: Note placement of connectors at bottom of motor. If it leaks, the water will accumulate and short the motor out.

Fault 3: Impellor falls off. Once off, it will not stay on.

Fault 4: The bearing in the front plate wears and allows the magnetic armature to flop around inside the motor casing, causing noise and slow running.

This is Whirlpool part number 4812 361 58334 and is available though the shop@ facility on UKWhitegoods and they fit, amongst others, the following dishwashers:
