Zanussi Dishwasher Safety Recall Notice - June 2007

Owners of these appliances must act immediately on this safety notice

Our quality control program has identified that a purchased connector component presents a potential risk of fire in some series of AEG ELECTROLUX and ZANUSSI ELECTROLUX dishwashers. No product bought before July 2006 is affected. Models with this potential problem are listed in the table which follows below.

The Model (Mod), PNC and Serial Number (S.N.) of the dishwasher are printed on the right side of the dishwasher door as indicated in the drawing below. It is also shown on the instruction book which came with the appliance.

If the model number matches one in the table below and falls into the given serial range then the dishwasher is an affected model.

Where to find your model, serial and PNC numbers:

Only the following serial numbers are affected: 62700001 to 64099999 and 70800001 to 71699999

Consumers owning one of these dishwashers should contact our Hotline on 0800 707 6258 between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday, or between 9.00am and 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday in order to arrange for a free-of-charge visit from a service engineer to rectify the fault.

Please note: If you are the owner of an affected model you must stop using your dishwasher and switch off the appliance.

This safety notice does not affect any other AEG-ELECTROLUX or ZANUSSI-ELECTROLUX appliance.
