Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs - Vacuum Cleaner FAQ

Quick common issues with vacuum cleaners from the likes of Hoover, Sebo and Dyson and most other brands

My vacuum is not picking up dirt, do I call an engineer?

In the first instance read through the instruction manual and ensure that you carry out all the checks in the book, failure to do so could result in charges to yourself, regardless of whether or not the appliance is under warranty!

Most often, consumable spares like belts, bags, filters and sometimes even tools are not covered by the warranty, please check this with the handbook or you can use our store to get bags, filters etc.

My hose has split on my cylinder vacuum cleaner, is this covered by my extended warranty ?

If the cleaner is covered by warranty then we'd advise you to check your policy details, or phone the manufacturer, the number will be on the policy document or instruction manual. Some do and some don't cover this, as with most appliances policies vary between various insurance companies and manufacturers.
