  • Miele KFN37432 iD Fridge Freezer issue

    Hi

I am posting on behalf of a colleague. They have a Miele KFN3742iD Integrated 70/30 Fridge Freezer. It started making loud beeping noises and warning lights were flashing,

The fridge is less than a year old so still under warranty with Miele but Miele cannot get an engineer out for a month.

I am not an engineer so my knowledge is limited.

You plug the fridge in, it shows a temp of 18' C and the freezer (yellow) symbol is flashing.

You can try and set the fridge and freezer temps to the proper temps and press OK but nothing seems to change when you do.

The light is working inside but the fridge and freezer are not cooling at all. It is basically at room temperature.

There is no reset button I can see or anything that I can try to test it.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Could it simple be that the printed circuit board has developed a problem?

Is the only solution a Miele engineer coming and plugging it into their diagnostic equipment or is there something else that might be a simple fix?

    Thanks

Sounds more like a sensor is faulty the beeping etc is probably an error code for that.
