Information For Students
We get asked quite often for statistical and market information on the whitegoods industry, here's the position for any people researching the domestic appliance industry.
From our point of view there's little to be gained in help students write a paper on this industry as it is usually an exercise in market analysis and no more than that. However there is a vast amount of information on this site that can help you if you care to look, read and learn.
We don't mean that in a bad way at all, but what we will not do is write your paper, thesis or whatever for you. That's known as a consultancy and that costs time and money but the point was that you go out there and learn, not plagiarise other people's work or simply quote from existing information.
In other words, we're not here to make your life easy, nor can we.
We'd love to help you but most often we don't have the means to do so.
With regards to statistical information in relation to the whitegoods or domestic appliance industry, you can get UK related information but it's not bang up to date, from the Office Of National Statistics website. Information from the rest of the world you'll either have to track down for yourself or, like us, have to pay thousands of pounds to obtain.
Since information of that nature costs so much it is valuable, as is the insights to the industry from those within it and many people charge handsomely for such consults.
So, whilst we would love to have the time to help you and we're not trying to be obstructive, we simply do not have the time or the financial resources to give such information away for free.
You can buy it as mentioned from market data companies like GfK etc but, it's not cheap. Not remotely.
People that do pay for it want the inside track and knowledge, they're normally not keen to share this data.
So far as we are aware, this data is not available for free anywhere.
