Aspes

ASpes Appliance brand logo

Aspes was a brand owned by Fagor and use Fagor appliances branded as Aspes, essentially an own label brand for Fagor.

To our knowledge this brand name has never been sold in the UK and therefore we have little information available on the brand or its history. Most Aspes appliances, normally washing machines, appear to find their way into the UK through personal imports from other European countries.

Obvioulsy with the demise of the Fagor Group in 2013 service and spare parts are difficult, expensive or both if available at all.

Aspes market share
Aspes is not officially sold or supported in the UK
Brand kudos
Not a great brand reputation in the industry
Aspes is a fairly well known brand in parts of Europe with a reasonable reputation

Aspes appliance pricing
Reasonable pricing but most appliances are just rebadged Fagor Group appliances
Quality
Aspes tends to be a reasonable quality product
Repair rating
Some repairs hampered by complex electronics and programming routines but generally Aspes are okay to repair
Repairer support
Very few repairers will repair an Aspes appliance in the UK
DIY repair rating
Some Aspes appliances are not so easy to DIY repair due to their technical nature and both spares cost and availability
Spare parts availability
Some Aspes spare parts are available from major suppliers
Spare part pricing
Most spare parts are okay price wise but some, especially electronics, can be pricey
Environmental rating
Not enough information on Aspes's environmental policies

Overall Rating

Not enough information on the Aspes brand to offer a lot of opinion
Due to the Aspes brand not being officially supported in the UK it is difficult to offer much meningful opinion however, as part of the Fagor Group we would expect most things to fall in line with other Fagor brands

Please do not use the comments below to ask for technical help or advice on any Aspes appliance as the engineers will not see the request. Please use the forums where more help may be available however this may be limited given there is no official UK support.
