No Longer Trading
Mertz was yet another own label brand that was launched by a chap called Paul Thompson that appears to have been targeting kitchen specialists with built-in products. The business went into liquidation in 2012 with the liquidators appointed in June of that year.
Little is known of the company at all other than that they appear to have been using Fagor produced machines but more than likely others as well.
Support is obviously no longer in existence and given we’d never heard of the brand until 2016 probably is a good indication that it wasn’t exactly popular!
Most spare parts are obsolete that we looked for as well so if you do own a Mertz product we’re afraid that you are probably out of luck if you’re looking for any assistance with faults or with spare parts.
Mertz Market Position
Was billed as being a bit upmarket but no longer available so it's a moot point.
Mertz Spare Parts
In almost all instances, no longer available or ludicrous prices from what we could find.
What the UK servicing arrangements are unknown but it no longer exists anyway.
